Congratulations to Summit Toastmaster Gina Genovese!

What’s the best way to learn more about Summit Toastmasters? Attend a meeting as a guest!

Whether you choose to participate or simply observe, we guarantee you’ll have a fun, enjoyable learning experience! Our club has a very diverse level of experience, from brand-new members to those who have been with the group for 10 years or more.

Summit Toastmasters provides a forum for developing, practicing and improving your public speaking and communication skills in a warm and welcoming environment. Through the well-known Toastmasters International program, novice and experienced speakers come together to learn, listen, think, and speak more effectively.

Whether presenting a prepared speech or participating in short “off the cuff” exercises, participants give and receive constructive feedback in a comfortable, structured setting in which they can polish their communication skills and network with other Toastmasters.

What Do Our Members Have To Say?

Last week we had to come to class prepared to deliver an "elevator" speech about a non-profit agency that we had selected...When I was called to deliver my talk I was the only one that didn't read from a sheet of paper, I was also one of the few that made eye contact, smiled, paused and kept a conversational tone. Nothing unique - just all the skills learned at Summit Toastmasters. The result was that I was the only student - out of about 25 - who received spontaneous applause from the class. Great feeling for me, and a great endorsement for Toastmasters!

Today will be exactly one month that I have been at law school. While I have been reading more than ever, I have survived. The cold calling that every 1L fears entering school, has not been nearly as bad, mostly because the Table Topics we do as Toastmasters prepared me very well. I feel comfortable and confident in my speaking thanks to all the advice I received from everyone. Thank you very much for everything.
